FQ:I had my baby girl April 14, two weeks after she was born she developed 2 hemangiomas (strawberries).. One on the side of her face by her ear, and one on the back of her head, they have gotten somewhat bigger and redder.. her pediatrician says this is very common, nothing to be alarmed about and they tend to go away as she gets older... he also is goin to refer me to a pediatric dermatologist, who he says can prescribe medicine to speed up the process of it goin away... my question is, have any of you moms experienced this with your babies and what if anything was done about it... i do not want to give my baby medicine if i can help it..
