FQ: I just gave birth to my son at 8:55 last night. He was born at 37 weeks via c section. He seemed normal at first but then the nurses saw a spike in his heart rate. After recovery I only got to spend 5 minutes with him, after finding out about his heart rate, and that was the only time to do kangaroo care or skin to skin. They said that he has fluid in the lungs and I wanted to know if any other moms have experienced this. At first they put him in transitional care which is where a nurse watched him closely for 6 six hours. Unfortunately my son didnt improve so he was admitted into NICU. He has been there ever since. Any moms have any stories that relate? If so how many days did your child spend in NICU?
