FQ:Im 32 weeks pregnant and on Friday I went into the er with severe abdominal pain that was constant on my right side but would spread all over my stomach and into my back. I had an ovarian cyst with another pregnancy and thats what I thought it might be. Doctor chalked it up to round ligament pain. She didnt do an ultra sound and didnt seem too concerned since I wasnt spotting, leaking fluid, and the stress test showed no contractions. She wants me to come in tomorrow just for a check up ( not my regular one) and said something about a possible ultra sound. My question is one- has anyone ever had that happen and it was a cyst? 2- the pain has subsided but can I still request her to do an ultra sound?
