FQ: My son is 20 months old and at his 18 month old check up I brought up the fact that he has been snoring since he was 2 weeks old (I never thought anything of it until I did some reading online) well his doctor looked at his throat and said that he will need his tonsils out but that she was going to send him to the ENT to see what was up, his tonsils were over-sized. The ENT measured them and said the his right tonsil was so large it was to the center of his throat and that his tonsil were about 3 cm apart (I believe). he referred us to a sleep study because he wants to make sure we dont need to do the tonsil removal before he is 2. The sleep study was supposed to be next week over a month and a 1/2 after our ENT appointment, they called me about 2 hours ago and said they had an earlier appointment for..... TONIGHT. Im a little nervous because Im not sure what to expect but excited because we will finally get some answers... my question is, has anyone else been through this with little ones and how did it turn out??
