FQ: i have genital herpes im also 36 weeks pregnant ive had herpes since december2011 i also have a 2 year old born december 2012 my whole pregnancy with my first i prayed to god that if i was having an outbreak or even if i was just shedding the virus at the time of birth that he intervene so i would have a csection instead of a vaginal birth and he answerd my prayers and i was induced because of preeclampsia was expected to give birth vaginaly but didnt dilate enough and ended up with a csection to some its just plain science or even bad luck that i didnt dialaite because the doctors said i wasent having an outbreak at the time of birth but deep inside i. Just know it was gods way of telling me something was going on down their...anyways now this time around the whole pregnancy ive been praying for the same thing only that 2 weeks ago at 34 weeks i had an outbreak it was horrible almost like the very first one! Well i got the medicine got checked out and it lasted almost 3 weeks and i just whent to the doctors apointment on friday and i told them that the sores have heeled but i have very intense itching like the outbreaks but with out sores they cheked for sores and yeast infection and i didnt have any but the itching is still their today now also! So i dont understand is this gods way of telling me not to go ahead with the VBAC!? Because i choose a VBAC this time around the doctors want me and are persuading me to go ahead with it assuring me that i dont have an outbreak but i just dont know what this terrible itching is the doctors are literaly looking at me funny because they say theirs no reason for me to be so itching down their but i am! What should i do? Should i just decide for a csection and forget the VBAC? Also ive been on suppressive antiviral medicine that supposeably lowers the risk of transmision during birth. I was really looking foward to having my water break or to know what contractions are but is this gods way of telling me to go for a csection? I really want to think yes but would like to know of any moms who have herpes and have deliverd vaginaly what was the outcome what test do they run on your baby after birth? What should i do or expect!? Please help me and post my question and story on the public page please! And let me know so i can be looking for its responses thank you so much!
