FRASERBURGH TRIUMPH IN GOAL BONANZA Fraserburgh came out on top in a goal extravaganza against Cove Rangers. With neither side concentration on defence, the goals flowed freely at both ends and the crowd will have gone home happy at the entertainment provided. Central midfielder Aaron McKenna gave Cove Rangers the lead with an accurate finish him inside the penalty areas which went in off the post in the 26th minute. Advanced forward Daniel Park doubled Cove Rangers lead with an incisive finish from 12 metres on 48 minutes. Advanced forward Scott Barbour pulled one back for Fraserburgh after 51 minutes with an acurate finish from just inside the penalty area. Young Cove Rangers centre back Michael Selfridge showed a sign of things to come though as he nearly gifted Fraserburgh a goal on 63 minutes. Young striker Steven Davidson then equalised for Fraserburgh in the 91st minute with an incisive finish from 15 metres. Better late than never for Fraserburgh and the fans were clearly delighted with Davidsons impact. Young centre back Michael Selfridge had a moment he will quickly want to forget about in the 108th minute when he contrived to score a calamitous own goal. Advanced forward Connor Scully then equalised for Cove Rangers in the 111th minute with a mighty header from within the six-yard box. Ball winning midfielder Marc Dickson then clinched a late winner on 113 minutes with a deftly executed finish from long range. Dicksons impact delighted the fans with his late goal.
