FREE 3-part cards! In this post, Budsy would love to share some of the first few signs that Budsy taught the children to recognize and also understand why these are important. When children understand what these signs are for, they will be more aware of their surroundings. Budsy hopes these 3-part cards will be useful for you, to impart lessons with your child / children at home. Some brief examples and notes.. DANGER signs help to warn us that there is something going on within the area that we need to keep out of. When we see these signs, we need to stay away. In our instance, it was placed at a cordoned area at the foot of our block. That was the few weeks that we had painters paint the walls, roofs and sheltered walkways in our estate. The cordoned area was where the gondolas would descend and park once they were done. When the boys see this sign, they understand that it is not safe to go anywhere near the area. NO EATING signs are often overlooked. In Singapore, eating and drinking are not allowed on trains and within the stations as well. This help keep our trains clean and hygienic for use for all commuters. Young children may not always respond positively to not being allowed to have milk or biscuits on the move. We can slowly and gradually have them stay off food and drink when on trains as they grow. We can see to it that we feed them before moving off for outings using public transportation, so they wont be too hungry having to wait for their train ride to reach the intended destination.
