FREE COLLEGE READINESS & LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR 10TH GRADE BOYS Importance: High TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY FREE COLLEGE READINESS & LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR 10TH GRADE BOYS The New York City Urban Ambassadors (NYCUA) leadership program is geared towards helping young men become positive role models by increasing their attitude and emotional well-being towards academic and college success. In furtherance of this program, the DEA is seeking 30 young men from the 10th grade to participate in a three year college bound program. There is no limit to the number of student applicants per school who can be nominated. Please see attachments for more details. The program is for 3 years and is held on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm 2. College Tours are given every semester 3. Free S.A.T and regent prep classes 4. Metro Cards, breakfast and lunch will be provided to each student while in the program. 5. This is an intermediation program, so we are seeking young men who are in need of and can benefit from a leadership program, positive male mentors and a college preparatory curriculum. 6.
