FREE Euro Wine Tasting! Join us this Friday the 14th from 4:30-7pm as we welcome Bruce Croft of Rare Wine Co. Bruce will be exploring the wines of Europe with you, as he pours and talks about his portfolio of French, Italian and Austrian wines. Hell start with some Austrian Whites- the Huber Gruner Veltliner and Dry Riesling. Then to France for a nice Sauvignon Blanc based White Bordeaux. For the Reds, Bruce will start with an uncommon wine around these parts- a Red Wine from Austria- a blend of their indigenous grapes, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. From Austria back to France for a lovely Red Burgundy ($30) from Claude Nouveau (rather unfortunate name...), and then to Italy for a delicious Chianti Classico from Il Palazzino. Lastly a couple of yummy Rhone wines- one from the Southern Rhone (Armand Rasteau- $25), and one from the Syrah based Northern Rhone- a gorgeous St Joseph from Domaine Vallet ($35). Along with cheeses and bread- all for FREE!
