FREE Plunket Parenting Course - Your Curious Young Child Start date Tuesday September 10th 10am – 12noon, followed by September 17th and 24th Location: Salvation Army, Greenview Lane, Orewa Your Curious Young Child is the last course in the PEPE series and run over 3 consecutive weeks course for parents/caregivers of children aged over 2 ½ years. Sessions are two hours in length and you can attend with your child/children. Some of the topics included in this course are: understanding the growing independence, curiosity and learning of the child, encouraging positive behaviour and learning through consequences, parenting styles, the difference between punishment and discipline, supporting early learning and development, safety, eating patterns, nutrition, and much more.
