FREE TO THE RIGHT HOME - Salam Sundancer (Sundance KA Imp US x Belbowrie Memorys Rose) Chestnut straight egyptian gelding, 10 months old. Mature 14.2 -14.3HH. Very showy and a lovely mover. But there is more to it so please read on! Sunny was sold as a baby colt but the personal circumstances of his buyer changed drastically and they could not take him. As many of you are aware, he tried to scalp himself some months ago which was quite nasty and necessitated veterinary attention. His head has healed up well and his forelock is growing back after we hacked it off to get at the wound. Before his accident and treatment, he was a friendly, confident , well handled little chap. Unfortunately, since his accident and vet treatment, he is now frightened of other people other than me, and the fact that he basically hasnt met any other people other than the vet, this problem is not getting any better. I run the stud on my own now and he sees no one but me. He has been taught to tie, pick his feet up and he leads well. Hasnt been rugged, washed or travelled yet. I want to place him with a capable, kind, patient and sensible horse person who would take the time to give him confidence, introduce him to other people and things and most importantly, love him! He is an outstanding young gelding who will make a fantastic show and saddle gelding for the right person. I will supply his paperwork for him to be registered, (whoever takes ownership of him will pay for his registration and transport).
