FREE TRAINING SESSIONS - MONITORING RED CAPPED PLOVERS Birdlife Australia are conducting several field training sessions , providing opportunities to see birds in their breeding habitats and get to know their characteristic behaviours. The idea is to train more people how to monitor the shorebirds of Gulf St Vincent. 1) Wednesday 20th November – at Thompson Beach, 2:00 to 4:00pm, led by Chris Purnell 2) Saturday 23rd November – at St Kilda Beach, 3:00 to 5:00pm, led by Peter Graff.
