***FREE app of the day*** (Free) HappyKids - interactive books, games and fun activities for children. This wonderful little library comes with 3 stories you can download for free. The stories are very cute and bright and colourful for younger readers. The stories are interactive and my young kids really seemed to enjoy them. There are a couple of options for use of this app. You can sign up for a weekly or monthly subscription which gives you access currently to 71 books, or you can purchase individual books and these are downloaded to your personal library. You do need internet access to be able to download books, games and more, however once they are in your library you can just work offline. Access to the store and subscription is locked from kids however once in the store purchases can be made without parental lock, so be sure to exit out of it each time.
