FREEDOM FESTIVAL An outdoor country music Freedom Festival to honor local veterans will be held Friday and Saturday, June 14th and 15th at 3674 U S 19, one mile from Walmart in Murphy NC. Gates open at 5pm both days. There will be music, food and veterans groups, including Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars with information booths on how you can support local veterans and homeless veterans. The Wilson Family Band will be opening the event on Friday and Roger Powell And Friends on Saturday. Please participate in this Freedom Festival by contributing any amount of canned groceries or a $5.00 gift at the gate.
