FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION FROM UNDOCUMENTED FILIPINOS WHO ARE WONDERING WHAT THE EMBASSY WILL SAY TO THEM IF THEY TRY AND RENEW THEIR PASSPORTS. Ive never heard of any report of the embassy refusing to renew an undocumented Filipinos passport. When I was consul I was instructed to go out of my way to assist such applicants. It is not the job of the embassy to do the INIS job for them. Ive heard reports from undocumented and over sensitive Filipinos who approached the now closed embassy in Dublin who felt that the staff there were looking at them in a peculiar way ! but didnt say anything to the applicants. If staff look at you in a peculiar way you simply ask them... whats wrong, have you never seen a Filipino before ?
