So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. [3] Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom. [4] And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him. What makes a queen a Queen is being able to stand up to the King in order to expose deception in his courts. KNOWING WHEN AND UNDER WHAT AUTHORITY TO MOVE. Its not about just tea parties and dress up. This thang is for real. I dont mean for this to be all about the queen because once the queen entered the room the king positioned himself. The golden sceptre: A sceptre -an ornamented staff carried by rulers on ceremonial occasions as a symbol of sovereignty( sign of authority). See! It was a sign of disrespect to approach the king at such a time. Yet God showed favor toward Esther. Esther took a stand against evil, unlike many of us who remain silent or hide behind rules and traditions. Expressions like: Im not going to do that, thats exactly why the first wife got the boot. YOU GOT TO KNOW WHAT MAKES A QUEEN A QUEEN! The key is knowing where the Kings love and loyalty lyes. Esther was able to reach the heart of the king at the very hour where fate could have destroyed her. WHAT MAKES A QUEEN A QUEEN is her willingness to obey God at any cost. Shes willing to make sacrifices for the kingdom to expand. A heart willing to die for what she believes. Many of us are cowards and run at the sight of blood. WHERE ARE THE WARRIORS? WHERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE A CHANCE ON LIFE AND DEFY THE ODDS? WHERE ARE THE GLADIATORS? WHAT MAKES HER A QUEEN: She stayed true to her purpose in the kings life! KNOWING YOUR POSITION: Touches not only the queen but the king as well. Had he not stood up for her at a critical time, who knows what the courts would have done. IT WAS CONSIDERED TREASON TO GO AGAINST AUTHO?RITY! Esther in her distress, placed herself on the alter willing to be sacrificed to save an entire country. NOW THATS A QUEEN! But it was not over, THE KING HAD TO RECOGNIZE HIS POSITION AS PROTECTOR. His response showed loyalty and commitment to family values. He was willing to give her half of the kingdom. WOMEN YOU COULD HAVE SO MUCH WHEN IT CONCERNS YOUR MATE BUT YOU CHOOSE TO DEFILE YOUR HARVEST BY ALLOW SATAN TO TEMPT YOU WITH NEGATIVE WEEDS OF DECEPTION! YOU GIVE UP TOO QUICK ON YOUR RELATIONSHIP. I REFUSE TO INCLUDE MYSELF IN THAT CATEGORY FOR I CHOSE TO FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR MY KING AND OUR KINGDOM. IN CONCLUSION, USE YOU QUEENLY PERSUASION AND STAND AGAINST WHATEVER DECEPTION THAT COME AGAINST THE KINGDOM! THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!
