FRIDAY AUGUST 23RD Pray I want men everywhere to lift up hands in prayers, without anger or disputing. 1 Tim. 2: 8 (NIV) Read James 5: 13 – 15. Believers encouraged to pray everywhere lifting up holy hands in worship. Apostle Paul wrote to young believer Timothy and the congregation on how to pray. The lifted hands should be holy without blemish not stained with blood, not filthy. The attitude of the praying believer must be without anger or disputing. He must be of rightful behavior and honest actions. There must be no bitterness or resentment against anyone. You must live a honest and sincere life, before all men. Live in private what you pray in public. Jesus taught his disciples to pray. Prayer is very important in the life of believer. Its importance cannot be over emphasized. In every issues of life, prayer gives solution to problems. The prayer of faith saves, pray in faith and receive increase. Allow the Holy Spirit to pray in you and through you.
