FRIDAY IN SOUTH JERSEY: Most of the day should remain dry, but after some morning sunshine, clouds will increase and thicken as the day progresses. Towards late afternoon and evening, a few showers may arrive, but the steadiest rain waits until after sunset to fall. Rain provides relief for firefighters as it helps lower the fire danger, and also temporary relief for allergy sufferers as some pollen will get washed away. So sunshine then increasing clouds, with showers towards evening. Winds shift and come off the ocean, a southeast breeze increasing to 10-15mph by afternoon(most brisk at shore). With a sea-breeze and more clouds, it will be a cooler day for most, mid 50s along the shore, around or just above 60 on the mainland.
