FRIDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE Friday morning is starting out with low clouds, light rain and drizzle and temperatures in the 40s. An upper level storm system will be heading eastward across the region today. Breezy north winds will keep things chilly. Mid-morning temperatures will climb a degree or two. Dry air will begin to move in at higher elevations and filter down. This will bring a break in the cloud cover for the late afternoon. Lunchtime temperatures will be in the mid 40s. Rain chances will decrease during the afternoon as the upper storm system pulls away to the east. Peak afternoon temperatures will be near 50. Dry air will settle in the evening as rain chances end and skies clear out. Long term – the weekend will be warmer with plenty of sunshine. This weather pattern will last through most of next week.
