FRIDAY PM UPDATE: Our Angels Keep Us Warm We had such wonderful adoptions today. Thanks to your sharing us, and bringing LIKES to our page, great forever families are coming to take our angels home, to their Happily Ever Afters. Everyone who is pushing to get us to 5,000 LIKES and everyone who shares us, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your efforts, which change the world for deserving homeless rescues, which then makes room for us to bring more rescues in to warmth, safety, health, TLC, and finally, to the Happy Endings with their forever families. There was an extra special adoption today, for me. That is Buddys adoption. Buddy was to be gassed in a high kill shelter in Tennessee. His sad sweet eyes were the windows to his old soul, and his big heart. I sat in the big crate with him yesterday. I promised him we would find him his family, and he would go home to give all of the love and loyalty he has to give. He kissed me, because he could tell he had my heart. Shortly after that, a member of our FB community came in, to look at the rescues for adoption. I watched Buddy put his paw on Justin. It was as if Buddy told him, I want to go home with you. Today, Justin came back for Buddy, to take him home. It made me so happy, I cried! This boy, who so deserves a great life, and a best friend got just that! This is such an empathic community, I know you were rooting for Buddy, too. Thank you.
