FRIDAY PRAYER ALERT: Please pray for Syrias presidential elections next Tuesday in the midst of the ongoing conflict. The choices are limited and many people cant vote because they are refugees. For many Syrians, it sums up all that has made them lose hope in the last three years. Please take the opportunity to plead with God for them: for real change and for positive, constructive steps to be made towards the establishment of real freedom in Syria. Remember Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Turkey and surrounding countries, where they have no status, no power and are dependent on the mercy of others. Give thanks for Christians in Syria and around the world who, through practical support, are showing the love of Christ and shining a light on ‘those living in darkness and in the shadow of death’ (Luke 1:79). ..
