FRIDAYS ANSWER....Pictured were Snap, Crackle and Pop the advertising characters for Rice Krispies cereal. The cereal was created in 1927 by Clayton Rindlisbacher and Eugene Mc Kay who worked for the Kellogg Company with the cereal hitting the public in 1928. The cereal made of cooked and then toasted rice has very thin, hallowed walls which collapse when milk is added causing the sounds of snap Crackle and pop. The elf like characters were created by Vernon Grant and first appeared on the package in 1933. Here is an early TV commercial for the cereal. https://youtube/watch?v=q6TIsxTdrCU
