FRIENDS & FAMILY: Theres been something Ive been dying to say for some time now... (wait for it) IVE GOT A JOOOOOOOOOOB!!!!!! I really want to thank ALL of you for your supportive words. I know that has become a generalized statement but in my case, its quite true. Life in PS can be deceptive, until you actually live here. 1/3 of the year is dead and the rest of the year relies on tourism. While it might have been easier for me to move closer to the tennis money in a neighboring town, I made a promise to myself to stay in Palm Springs proper. That loyalty has paid off at times. So its sweetly ironic that Ive been hired to help manage a fabulous store thats as Palm Springs as it gets! Even when I thought I was alone in 120 degrees with a flat tire in the middle of a desert asking God, WTF?! I hear the music starting so I must cut this speech short. (Ive ALWAYS wanted to say that!)
