Social networking websites like Facebook connect us with scores of friends simultaneously - yet many of them are only acquaintances, not true friends. The following passages unveil the meaning of a true friend. This is someone who brings out the best in you, who loves and gives unselfishly. This the person who speaks the truth with kindness - and when others criticize you, stand in your defense. Friendship is never one-sided because to have a friend, you must be a friend.
