FROM - You Have Chosen to Remember What is the Opposite of Love? If God is Love, and God is all, then Love is all and thus the opposite of love is not fear but nothing. Today, instead of once again reacting to the ego’s illusionary attack thoughts (nothingness), we will consciously and symbolically choose to turn the other cheek. We will not defend, but not because we are not worth defending, but because there is no need to defend ourselves against nothing. The only power illusions have over us is the power we give to them. Let us today remember that everything the ego says or does within the illusion is not an attack but actually a call for love, help, and healing, a call to come out of the nothingness and into the all. In the ego’s illusionary world our sister and brother become the target of our attack, in our Creator’s world they are our gateway to freedom, forgiveness, and peace. Today let’s remember that it is our reaction, the value we place on illusions, that gives them their power, and that it is we, who can choose to see them as an attack, or as an appeal for love, help, and healing.
