FROM A DISILLUSIONED OFFICER; Hi#DKC . I went to Safaricom Shop,Naivasha today at around 1130hrs to replace my Sim as a member of armed forces I went with my Millitary ID for Administration Police. The lady by the name Catherine(with specs) asked me for my ID and I told her I only have that Millitary ID. She refused telling me that wasnt Millitary ID but a job card like hers. I told her I had been using it ever since for bank transactions, mpesa services etc and had even used it to replace the same line 2 months ago at the same place. I asked her what she knows of Millitary ID and she told me those used by KDF. After refusing totally to replace my Sim since I didnt have original ID as she said I went to complain to John who had assisted me on previous replacement and he told me there was no problem in replacement since that was my Millitary ID. He was busy and sent me to a lady on the next desk by the name Ann we argued for over 20mins of the same. I even asked her if it was difficult I buy the replacement card then call Call Customer care on my own. Ann replaced my Sim after 40 mins of waiting and I was travelling. Can Safaricom define for me Millitary ID?
