FROM A MAN: Hi Zane, I need your advice asap! Im a 25 yes old Male from Memphis, TN an I hate it here. I got accepted to LPN school in Nashville in August so I moved to Nashville for school..I was so excited. I got there and gave it my all an I failed A&P by point 1(.1) so basically they told me try again next year..So I came back to Memphis to visit an I applied here got right in start Jan.5th Heres where it gets complicated for me. Ill have to move with my sister and four kids for awhile an I hate it..I dont have anyone else my parents died when I was very young..Half of me is telling me to suck it up and move there just until I get on my feet and the other half is telling me to stay in Nashville and work until next year but, I know me. Ill get all comfortable and put school on the back burner and want go...What to do what to do...Mind you my sis kids are small got smart mouthes and screams all the time.....signed confused and tired MY RESPONSE: So you can stay in Memphis with your sister and her kids and work at a job that starts January 5th or you can go back to Nashville and work until school starts? I would say go for it in Nashville if you think you can find a job and a place to stay. At 25, you should be running free and that will be hard to do residing in your sisters home with four children. It is time for you to become a man. At least try Nashville, and see what happens, if at all possible. Dont give up on your dream. You may move there, meet a nice young lady, get a great job AND still go to school, even if it ends up being part-time. Either way, you will be fine. You sound like you have a strong head on your shoulders. P.S. They should have let you slide with that .1. Just my opinion.
