FROM ADMIN SHISHMAS DESK (+263776627832);- To begin with, this is still a journey that requires support from well wishers but before any support, I came up with a plan to make sure we empower ourselves before we excessively rely on handouts or donations. Admin Shishma created 4 facebook pages which have seen the largest one amassing almost 70 000 likes. The facebook pages are mainly social, majoring on helping people establish their families (finding partners, advises on how to preserve relationships, etc). Having done that and after some time majoring on that, I sought to transform my fans into more social beings as comments and posts on facebook may not be that easy to control. I then created WhatsApp Groups comprising people of different backgrounds, HIV positive people, the less priviledged etc. The Groups are also categorised according to ages. I then crafted rules governing our conduct, ressembling the real world out there. I first created 34 WhatsApp Groups which were full and eventually trimmed them to 14, later to 6. All which were & are full. I have done this for more than 3 years now (running WhatsApp Groups) As we got closer to each other (in the Groups), we sought to transform ourselves further from just being socialists to entrepreneurs. We mooted a plan. We then agreed to start some monthly contributions so that we could establish Projects. I initiated the plans in December last year (2013), and as you know issues involving money draw scepticism from most people, we struggled to convince people to accept and start the contributions. We eventually took off in May (last month but one). We are now 22 (people that agreed to the idea of raising social funds) We then pegged joining fee, which is not refundable, initially at $10 (but now its $15) The monthly contributions are $20 per head. We are now in the third month and wish to do so for six months and then evaluate our finances and see what projects we can do. We have people in South Africa, Botswana, etc, that have joined us to see this vision materialise. Briefly, this is my account.
