FROM ANOTHER CUSTOMER: Hello Debbie, Sue and I could hardly - TopicsExpress

FROM ANOTHER CUSTOMER: Hello Debbie, Sue and I could hardly believe that despite yesterdays unpredicted power outage, and the resulting congestion on the highways, your team arrived only half an hour after the scheduled time, and were prepared to install the generator using only the power supply(ies) on their two trucks and one trailer. Scott Shanahan proved exceptionally competent in adapting to situations he had probably never seen before, such as the Bosch electric hot water heater, which had to be switched off in an NSTAR outage via its internal relay, apparently controlled by means of a signal from the transfer box, which the team located appropriately right below the existing circuit-breaker box at the diagonally opposite corner of the basement. Your plumbers also responded very well to both the rain and the unusual requirements. A tent was raised early in the morning. By about five PM, everything had been installed, tested, and proved working. I would like to know, Scott, how did you know that there was a shutoff relay inside the Bosch enclosure? Scott gave me a tutorial, and I have a 15 mm stack of manuals, and two keys for locking and unlocking the generator enclosure. Mondays predicted high is just freezing, and were happy to be well prepared for another unpredicted NSTAR outage. Allan Weston MA
