FROM D STABLE OF PDP YOUTH WING EDO STATE BREAKING NEWS: Information reaching us states that Rt. Hon. Uyi Igbe, Speaker EDHA, Hon. Philip Shaibu, Majority Leader EDHA and Hon. Folly Ogedengbe member EDHA have been detained by EFCC in Abuja for Alleged Forgery. You will recall that a few months ago when Govt House faction of EDHA wanted to attempt the impeachment of the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Festus Ebea, they resorted to forging the signature of Hon. Rasaq Momoh so that there should be a semblance of legitimacy in their impeachment plot. The forgery became necessary because they didnt have the number (16) required by law. Hon Rasaq Momoh cried fowl and immediately invited the fraud squad who swung into action. Preliminary investigation has indicted the three lawmakers as lawbreakers hence their arrest and detention by EFCC. It is speculated in certain quarters that the assassination attempt on Hon. Rasaq Momoh may be connected to this case...more news as we receive
