FROM DESPAIR TO DELIGHT Everything appears more frightening in the dark. The house thats so warm and inviting while sunlight streams through its windows is ominous during a stormy night. As unknown creaks and groans echo through the walls, your place of shelter can feel confining and treacherous. The same is true when theres darkness in your circumstances. The unknown can be fearsome and restrictive, and you long for the light of understanding to shine on your situation. Dont be discouraged--its never as bad as it seems. The fresh sunrise will reveal Gods insight and provision for your problems. As he illuminates your situation, youll see that what brought you despair was really an opportunity for delight. God, Im counting on you to turn this time of sorrow into a vehicle of joy. Thank you for shedding light on my circumstances. In Jesus name, AMEN.
