FROM HOME OFFICE OF THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND KOSHER BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP & FESTIVAL - Over the last 2 weeks we have had many many boxes delivered to the home office. The box that was delivered today is probably the very best box we will receive. The contents of this box remind me why two of us decided to take on this project 1 year ago, and how we have grown to 13 committees and over 100 volunteers. This box is a reminder of the selflessness of 1 man who had a vision several years ago and how that vision has now turned into a full blown Kosher BBQ Competition circuit with events held annually in Long Island, Atlanta, Memphis, Birmingham, Kansas City, Chicago, San Antonio, Texas, Las Vegas, Cleveland (Cleveland Rocks), Charlotte, North Carolina and next spring - Montvale, NJ. We will honor the memory of MARVIN REMBO when present to a winning team, THE MARVIN REMBO PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD on September 7, 2014 at The Southern New England Kosher BBQ Championship & Festival.
