FROM Hans N. McGroin TO West Virginia Mountaineers For all those fans that have decades invested in Mountaineer football.... Who grew up living or dying every Saturday with this team. The Ones who were there every week no matter what the circumstances or who the foe. The Ones who stayed til the end, Just because you never know whats gonna happen. The Ones whove lived the joy as well as disappointment, both of which there have been plenty.The Ones who remember the autumn cheers of the past and can still hear them echo in the back of their mind. The Ones who can still hear Jack Fleming when they shut their eyes.... The 20...The 15....The 10....The 5....TOUCH-DOWN WEST VIRGINIA!!! Those who know Coach Stews words by heart, They Shouldnt have played the Old Gold and Blue!!! NOT THIS NIGHT!! Ive loved this team since the very day I realized what football meant. Ive cheered them on with so many lifelong friends, some of them here, some of them gone but never forgotten...... I can say that it has not always been an easy road, and to be a Mountaineer fan means that you have been battle hardened over the years, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Old Gold and Blue forever......GO MOUNTIES, BEAT THE FROGS! Thanks Hans N.
