FROM REV. SUZELLE LYNCH Dear all, It is heavy on my heart that my friend and colleague the Rev. Georgette Wonders, who served our UU congregation in Kenosha, WI, was mortally injured in an accident early Wednesday morning and died Friday evening at United Hospital in Kenosha, surrounded by the love of her wife, the Rev. Hope Engeseth, her family and close friends. It was an honor to be with them – Georgette and I have been friends since the mid-1990s. Georgette was a wonderful minister who served her congregation and community with great heart. The links below take you to the congregation’s website, and to news coverage. A Community Memorial Service will take place on Monday April 14, 2014 at 6:00PM at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church (2001-80th Street Kenosha) with the Reverend Tony Larson presiding. A time for fellowship and sharing of memories will take place at Bradford Community Church Unitarian Universalist (5810-8th avenue) immediately following the memorial service.
