FROM THE DESK OF CAPT VICTOR ORGAN American is facing 3 destructive threats and most don’t recognize or understand them because you are sheltered in a Utopic lifestyle. Sad to say, but our wonderful experiment in the LAND OF THE FREE is soon doomed if we do not wake up and unite to correct these. 1. OUR TURN TOWARDS SOCIALISM. Help people yes; but instill reward for education, work ethic, and responsibility for raising our children, not HANDOUTS, which is being done in massive amounts at present. And… they are not ENTITLEMENTS! They are HANDOUTS, and like the Forest Service says DON’T FEED THE ANIMALS (because they will depend on you and in time turn on you and bite); as Congress is doing at present. ENTITLEMENTS is the money we worked for, and paid into, like Social Security. Which has been burglarized by Congress to give HANDOUTS for votes. (most all Democrats but some Republicans also) I am truly blessed to be a member of an extended family that does love, educate and take care of their children, from Florida, to Ethiopia, to Manila, all members. This family successes are testimony to what l say and I am proud to be a member. 2. RELIGIOUS FEVER REGARDLESS OF THE SECT. What is happening here in the Mideast is an extension of the problem addressed above on a global scale. The 3 religions of Abraham are sound GUIDE LINES to live by and 95% of the people that believe follow their teachings in peace. I live in a Multicultural Circle of Friend’s that is a testament of what I say even though we are surrounded by religious bigotry. The problem is, we collectively, in all sects, allowed the 5% to hijack education and religion to a political end in the 4 corners of the world. It is ramped and if not addressed by what I laid out in item 1 above it will destroy us all… this starts with the family and the individual, to SAY SOMETHING with a positive effect, and more importantly to DO SOMETHING with a positive effect. THE SILENT MAJORITY CAN NO LONGER REMAIN SILENT. I believe this, hence this editorial, and leading our community in teaching youth of all color, faith, and nationalities, the core values of scouting and team sports like baseball. 3. CHINESE SUPERPOWER This by far is the most concerning silent but deadly threat. American’s are the financers of their takeover of the world market. We buy their cheap junk as we did the Japanese when l was a kid. I’d get a toy, turn it over and if it said, Made in Japan, I’d toss it as junk. Just yesterday l did the same thing to make sure it was Made in Japan. When they got the Industrial Education (see 1 above ) they took over the auto industry WORLD WIDE not just the USA, and later electronics. Try to find an American TV and count cars on the street… you will confirm this undeniable fact. The Chinese are not Japanese! We have given them Africa by our neglect. They are building infrastructure and befitting from their ASTUTE ECONOMIC POLICY. The present Congress (All) and President cannot even spell ASTUTE ECONOMIC POLICY much less have one. To buy AMERICAN is not easy; to find or afford. Why? because of #1 ABOVE!!!! This is far a bigger problem for my kids and grandkids but at least they will be better prepared and have the benefit of their granddaddy saying so and pointing the way… again something lacking in #1 above!!!! God help and bless America… They need guidance because Americans are not applying RESPONSIBILITY in their Constitutional First Amendment Rights. Teach CITIZENSHIP IN THE NATION MERIT BADGE to some scout to refresh your memory on the subject. LAST WORD ON POLITICAL CORRECTNESS… use it around me regardless of who you are and l will make fun of you for being an idiot and not having the courage to speak the truth without useless sugar coating!
