FROM THE KUDIRAT ABIOLA STUDENT UNION GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAT MAPOLY.......... Greatest Mapaite in struggle, it isnt a rumor that the institution student union government executive members for the 2013/2014 academic session were sworn into our various offices on the 15th of January, 2014, a good development that guarantee the possibilities of achieving our electoral promises for the electorates in the course of our campaign. Articulate Mapaites!!! As the medical fitness test for the fresh students goes on, we never relented in our efforts in monitoring the conduct of the exercise at all the designated laboratories, task by the management of our institution to handle the exercise, to ensure that our student are granted audience and not subjected to any form of stress. Ever Conscious Mapaites!!! Within the last ten days in our various offices, on the 20th of January, 2014, the student union government executive members met with the institution governing council with the rector, the acting registrar, the directorate of student affairs, the institution public relation officer, student affair officer, the outgone sug caretaker committee mallam led administration members of 2012/2013 session, departmental excos and concerned mapaites were in attendance, where issues (problems) affecting students were table mostly in the areas of - provision of conducive learning lecture theatres - facilitation of the completion of the institution abandon hostel project and building of more in addendum to reduce to a barest minimum the accommodation hardship encounter in every academic session by a common mapaite. - provision of more buses by the state government to ease the institution transportation system. - reduction in school fees. - quick intervention to address security harassment over mapaites and lot not mentioned. Articulate Mapaites!!! After series of reaction from mapaites on how issues (problems) alighted can be resolve thoroughly, the chairman of the governing council Chief Mrs Iyalode Alaba Lawson MFR stood to speak on behalf of the state government, assuring us that every necessary things shall be put into place to make Mapoly claim it expected standard among others. Fellow brothers and sisters in struggle, we are committed to your well being and only your support can guarantee the success of the current sug administration as we promise of serving not ruling for we strongly believe that a better Mapoly is achievable through our collective support.
