FROM THE NEARLY NEWS NETWORK: Heres the Top 10 things that could be done with the broken clock atop the Lackawanna County Court House: #10: The obvious: Fix the damn thing. #9: Put a picture of Commissioner Patrick Say Cheese OMalley on all four sides so he wouldnt have to burden himself with all those photo opps, which is basically all he does anyway. #8: Install a sign that reads: Its broke and the county soon will be, too. #7: Establish a new county motto: Unlike our present board of commissioners, the clock--even broken--is right twice a day. #6: Tie the clock into the countys Kronos system so everybody except the controller can see when an employee clocks in. #5: Hire one of Commissioner Jim Wansaczs political cronies to manually change the clocks time every minute. #4: Leave the clock the way it is and play Chicagos 25 or 6 to 4 24-7. #3: Same as #4, but play Chicagos Does anybody really know what time it is? 24-7. #2: Same as numbers 4 and 3, but play Time wont let me by the Outsiders 24-7.
