FROM THE NEWSROOM: A four car vehicle accident in Thompson Tuesday sent two people to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to state police. In an accident report, police said that two vehicles were stopped on Old Turnpike Road for a vehicle turning left in front of the first car. A third vehicle coming up behind the stopped vehicles was slowing down when it was rear-ended by a fourth vehicle, driven by Webster resident Stephanie Lloyd. All of the drivers involved told police they had been wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, around 5:22 p.m. Tuesday. Two of the drivers in the vehicles that were rear-ended, James Graham, of Dudley, Mass., and Ciara Kubert, of Webster, Mass., were transported by ambulance to Harrington Memorial Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
