FROM THE NEWSROOM: At approximately 3:48 this afternoon, (Friday) members of the Troop-D Quality of Life Task Force, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East Office, the Putnam Police Department, Troopers assigned to the Troop D Danielson Barracks and Agents assigned to the CT DEA Field Office executed a narcotic related search and seizure warrant at #356 Kennedy Drive in Putnam. The search warrant was sought and obtained after numerous complaints were received by task force personnel that heroin was being sold from the apartment located at #356 Kennedy Drive in Putnam. When the search warrant was executed a systematic search was conducted of the residence and investigators located 29 bags of heroin pre-packaged for sale. As a result of the search, Andrea Kettle, 42, was arrested for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Heroin WITS and was held at Troop D on a $75,000 dollar cash/ surety bond. Kettle is to appear at GA 11 Danielson on 09/29/14 for the above related charges.
