FROM THE NEWSROOM: BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (AP) — The funeral of a Connecticut firefighter who died in the line of duty is expected to draw scores of firefighters from across the region. Services for Kevin Bell are set for 11 a.m. Monday at First Cathedral Church in Bloomfield. Calling hours will be the hour before the funeral. The 48-year-old Bell died and three firefighters were injured in the fire Tuesday evening in Hartfords North End. Bell was the first Hartford firefighter to die in the line of duty in 40 years. Residents of the house got out safely. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. The condition of 29-yer-old Jason Martinez, one of the three injured firefighters, wasnt immediately available on Sunday. The other firefighters were discharged.
