FROM THE NEWSROOM: DARIEN, Conn. (AP) — A New York City man has been arrested in connection with a Connecticut jewelry store robbery, after police say his DNA was found on a glove in the getaway car. Thirty-three-year-old Richard Garrison of Manhattan is expected to be arraigned Friday in Stamford Superior Court on charges including robbery, assault and burglary. He was extradited from New York to Darien on Thursday. Police say Garrison and two other men robbed David Harvey Jewelers on June 28 and made off with more than $400,000 worth of high-end watches. The other two men remain at large. Authorities say the getaway car was later found in the Bronx, and a glove with Garrisons DNA was discovered inside. Garrison is detained on $500,000 bail. Its not clear if he has a lawyer.
