FROM THE NEWSROOM: FARMINGTON, Conn. (AP) — The medical examiners office is set to perform an autopsy on a 20-year-old man who died after apparently falling from a cliff while hiking in Woodbridge. The autopsy on Sam Shekman of Woodbury is scheduled for Tuesday at the Chief Medical Examiners Office in Farmington. Authorities say Shekman was reported missing Sunday after he didnt return from a hike in the West Rock woods. Woodbridge police and firefighters searched the woods with the help of Seymour, Hamden and state police and found Shekmans body on some rocks below a cliff. Police say Shekmans death appears to have been an accident. Authorities continue to investigate.
