FROM THE NEWSROOM: It will be late this evening or sometime tomorrow before the results of tests for Ebola on a man in isolation at Belleville General Hospital are available. Quinte Health Cares Communications Director, Susan Rowe, says its very unlikely the man has the illness, but additional precautions will continue until hospital officials receive the information theyre waiting for. The results were expected by late this afternoon, but that has been delayed until tonight or tomorrow. The patient, who has some symptoms common with Ebola, reportedly fever and diarrhea, is a member of the military, and lives in the Quinte area. He returned mid-last week from a trip which included a brief stopover in Sierra Leone, and went to the hospital early yesterday morning after becoming ill.
