FROM THE NEWSROOM: (UPDATE) A third person has been arrested in connection to a rash of car break-ins throughout Northeastern Conn., according to state police. 22-year-old Charles Lonchiadis, of Bailey Hill Road, Dayville, was arrested by warrant Monday and charged with four counts of third degree burglary, and one count each of second degree criminal mischief, second degree larceny and stealing a firearm. According to an arrest report, Lonchiadis was located on Market Lane in Thompson Monday and taken into police custody. Authorities say hes been held on a $10,000 cash-surety bond, and scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court today. Police say that another arrest is expected in the case. Troopers earlier arrested 21-year-old Danielson residents Debra Dunn and 23-year-old Jessica Jensen; both are charged with second degree criminal mischief and several counts of being an accessory to a crime. As reported, authorities allege that Dunn and Jensen drove two male suspects around several local towns while the men broke in to unlocked vehicles, stealing electronics and money. The accused were apprehended by police, after the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force received information about the suspects through the Crime Tip Hotline. At least 15 vehicles were targeted during the spree in the towns of Woodstock, Thompson, Brooklyn and Killingly, police said.
