Booed and stoned Ribadus çonvoy. I am saddened. What did they lose by being part of the welcome party and going along so to speak and promote Numan the way they want Ribadu to relate should they win. Painful is that it happened at the Palace and top Numan elders including former Deputy Governor and Commissioners were present. Now they have given us a stigma and we the elders will be portrayed as lacking in control. Why did they do that? I felt stripped naked in the market place. We pride ourselves of beinğ the most civilized tribe but our behaviour has not spoken that. They are not PDP as a whole and the so called imposition is a party affair. They have the option to go elsewhere. This act is purely criminal and retrogressive. I am ashamed. I apologise to Ribadu and his entourage personally and on behalf of our people. Surely we are not like that. I implore youth groups, civil society, Churches and mosques in all of Bachama land to address the youth. I spoke to his Royal Magesty immediately I heard and shared his pain at the occurence. Fortunately the report has blown the event out of proportion and it was politically motivated by politicians intent on creating a divide in the polity to exploit for gains. Arrests have been made.
