FROM THE WALL OF ABDULBASEET AYODEJI AYORINDE KINDLY READ IT AND TYPE AMEN 3. ABDULRAHMAN, THE LAST MOMENTS WITH HIM. Towards the end of his life, we had the greatest moment. Obviously its Allahs decision, cause He (SWT) brought us together from far cities. We spent the last moments in our hometown. Just few weeks to his exit, it was arround ileya festival, for several days, it was him and myself. Sitting together althrough, talking, gisting, sharing experience and the Great Pains together. He was just discharged that time, and were together. He would tell me the pains and agony hes going through and with tears, we would keep hoping on Allah, and keep our Faith strong and firm. At a stage, he started telling me his will orally. The will is not about properties, but his wishes after he might have gone. I felt so careless, cause I was so foolishly sure hes not gonna die. On the salah day (eid-l-kabir, 26th of october, 2012), we were together with our brother, AY, and in the car we run-through the whole town, we observed Jumat service together. My observation was that he stayed far away from us (AY and I). After then, we proceeded to the family house where we enjoyed ourself to the fullest. We returned home in the evening where many paid visits and thats how we had the last salah together. The following day, it was a sendforth party which we never knew. He gathered us at an event centre, there himself, I and other Old friends (Uthman, Bolaji Afolabi, Yetunde Akintola, Amuda suliyat) had a nice get-together. He paid for everything and he took just bottle water. When others left, he said to me you wont believe today is one of the greatest day in my life, cause I feel so happy like never before. We both smile. On the third day, 28th of October, 2012, which marks the last day I saw him. Were together throughout (uthman, himself and I), we continued gisting and talking. I was leaving for Lagos the following day, he was leaving for Ilorin the following day, while uthman was leaving for Oshogbo the following day. In his last statement to me, he said; hey you, you have to be serious and focused, especially on your career, and hold tight the family ties, be kind and never stray from Allahs path. He said to uthman; you, no one stops you from politics, if thats what youve chosen, but ammend your ways, and make a wise and quick decision. May Allah help you. He added some other things, which are very encouraging but cant share here. We hugged and parted. If Id known that was gonna be the last moment, I would have stayed with him till death parts us. Once again, May Allah be pleased with you Abdulrahman, and make you an inheritor of Jannati Naheem.
