FROM TITLE CONTENDERS TO TOP SIX FIGHTERS, WHO IS TO BLAME? Kamuzu Barracks has gone from the title contenders to the top six fighters. The team has managed to collect two points from the possible Eighteen, having lost four matches to Bullets, Mafco, Civo and Moyale Barracks, drawing to Mighty Wanderers and Evirom respectively. The Carsberg Cup winners are yet to win a match in the second round of the tnm super league. Kamuzu Barrackss recent poor run of form has seen them dropping up to sixth from position one in the league. Kamuzu Barracks, a team that was given massive respect in the first round following their unbeaten run at home, is stuggling alot since winning the Carsberg cup. After winning the cup, some senior players as well as the senior backroom staff members were not happy with the way the executive of the team handled the money. The Players started to show their anger on the pitch. As this was not enough, the exutive of the team started to show their power by telling the Technical Panel what to do and how to work. This didnt go well with Coach Billy Phambana who openly criticised the executive by saying and we quote uwauze ma bwana ako kuti asamandipangile chochita, asamandipangile team soon after these remarks, the executive was furious with the remarks and an emergency meeting was called. During the meeting, the executive decided to suspend Billy Phambala. MSLNSF got the news and asked the executive but they refuted our findings. The following day, Phambala was not incharge of the team and thats when they revealed to the media that Billy Phambala was transfered to Kasungu but the truth of the matter was that Phambala was suspended by the executive. Following this change, several players were not happy and protested as a result, some of the Players were suspended due to indiscipline. Mistapha Salim and Kelvin Malikebu were not part of Kamuzu Barrackss team that lost to Civo last week. The problems that have errupted at Kamuzu Barracks have seen the team dropping from the first position to the sixth position. Every soccer pundit expected KB to be one of the title contenders but things have changed. The executive has to sort out this mess. Bringing in a new manager wont solve the current problems, keeping the backroom staff and the Players happy is what is needed at KB, otherwise, the team will continue to struggle in the top flight. The executive is to blame for all these mess and they have to sort the mess out..........@Andy(the undisputed)
