FROM TODAYS DAILY REFLECTION: Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. - Ephesians 5:11-14 ... the goal of exposing is redemptive and inclusive. It seeks, not to alienate those who walk in darkness, but rather to draw them into the light of Christ. PRAYER: Gracious and merciful God, God of light who shines in the darkness, thank you for shining upon me, in me, and through me. Thank you for calling me into your work of exposing the darkness so that those who live in darkness might turn to your light. Help me, Lord, to live in such a way that people are drawn to you because of me. I know thats a tall order. But that is my prayer, on the basis of your Word. May I live today, truly, as a light in the world. To you be all the glory! Amen.
