FRONT PAGE NEWS - LEND YOUR VOICE! It has been an exceptionally emotional and busy week for us at ROF, and now with our sleeves rolled up ROF is calling on all its friends, adopters, and animal lovers to support our efforts to protect 11 Rottweilers. ROF stepped in last week in an effort to assist Yolo County in the treatment and support care needed to save 11 severely emaciated and neglected Rottweilers which were confiscated from a local rescue operation. Unfortunately at least 3 dogs were found at the “rescue” facility dead and badly decayed; the actual number of deaths is still unknown and may never be known. These precious souls have been entrusted to ROF for full time treatment and round the clock specialty care during the necessary “hold” period. ROF needs your support to ensure that these wonderful animals get the chance they deserve to be truly cared for, rehabilitated and ultimately placed in proper homes once the hold period expires. Without your voice these 11 Rottweilers may end up back in the very hands of the rescue group who has already failed to protect them. Please call, write, and email Yolo County and confirm the message that these “2nd Chance Rottweilers” will get their “only chance” at Forever Home by remaining in the care of ROF and send a message to the DA that the public expects prosecution to the fullest extent of the law so that this tragedy cannot happen again.
