FRONT PORCH PONDERING: Woke up this morning thinking about when I was a little boy. Often I would find myself lying down on the grass watching ants as they would travel from one grass leaf to another. While observing the ants you would think that they had no idea where they were going. They would wonder all over the place, from one grass leaf to another trying to get to their destination. Finally, they would reach their neatly dug ant hill and go in. You would think now there is a confused little ant but all the time they knew where they were going. So often in our life it looks like we have no idea where we are going. We wonder from one place to another but eventually we, like the ants, reach our destination. This brings me to the point that we should always have some idea as to where we are going. The scripture tells us that it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement. So when death comes knocking at our door dont forget its not over. After death...the judgment. Know where you are going and make preprations for the judgment. It is better to enter eternity with a righteous life believing in Christ as your Saviour than to enter it with an unrighteous life. Know where you are going before you get there and it will make your arrival a more pleasant experience. The Apostle Paul said I know in whom I have believe and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. Jim here just LIVING THE LIFE!
